Hey everyone! My name is Dr. Sean Briant and I am a chiropractor originally from Saskatoon. I attended the University of Saskatchewan where I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I then continued my education at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon where I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and my Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Growing up, I was immensely involved in athletics. I have a background playing elite level football, basketball, track & field, soccer and volleyball providing me with a deep understanding of the mechanics of these sports. I am also an avid golfer who enjoys running, bike riding or firing up the BBQ in my spare time. Despite my athletic background, I thoroughly enjoy working with people of all ages, backgrounds and interests. Most of all, I value spending quality time with family and friends.

Ultimately, my goal is to get you out of pain and improve how you function so you can get back to doing the things you love! To do so, I will be diligently assessing your complaints, helping you understand the root cause of your pain and tailoring a treatment plan that best fits your individual needs. The thing that I love most about being a chiropractic physician is having the opportunity to educate, empower and provide the tools to each patient to be in control of their own health.

Devan Ludwig graduated from Professional Institute of Massage Therapy with Distinction in April of 2019. Devan takes a special interest in recurring shoulder and hip complaints. Her desire to learn more about the body as a whole unit and investigate why musculoskeletal pain often happens in the same areas despite no obvious cause is what lead her to further her education. So – in October of 2021 she graduated with a Manual Osteopathic Therapist Diploma from Manual Osteopathic College of Canada in Edmonton, with Honors and Distinction.

Devan tried on a few different industries before becoming a Massage Therapist. In between different careers she maintained a fascination with human movement and recurring pain.

When obtaining any certificate, diploma, degree etc. in the Manual Therapy field it is obvious that you will be working with movement, anatomy, pathology and more, daily. This is what originally drew her to the manual therapy industry. What she didn’t realize she would also come to love (possibly even more than the aforementioned) is meaningful human connection, laughing every single day while at work, and being a forever student.

Balance is an important element of Devan’s life and she truly believes everyone should hurt less and play more. In her free time she can be found traveling, hanging out with her husband and animals, frolicking outdoors, and seeking out moderate adrenaline rushes (think roller coasters, not skydiving).

Making the switch to Self Wellness was a shift Devan welcomed with open arms. She is excited to still be in a rehabilitative role when required, and to learn more from her colleagues about the mind, body, spirit connection.
